In front of the Gates public library on Sundays, there is a farmers market. I attended this event on September 6th. I started out at Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee Truck and got an Americano and then I walked around while sipping my hot beverage. There was live music playing and at one point, I heard a Taylor Swift song. I stopped at a tent where someone was selling homemade tea. I asked her which one was the mildest and she didn’t really answer my question. Instead, she went on for five minutes about the health attributes of each tea. At another tent, they were selling fall décor and I bought a small fall ornament to hang on my front porch. Another vendor was selling key chains and I bought one of these too. It was sunny and seventy degrees on this late summer morning where I was able to find some nice things for myself.
